“For 15 years we have had the good fortune of seeing Dr. Terri Clemett and her caring staff, give exemplary care to our “fur-kids”. Our dogs are in the best of hands at North Shore Veterinary Clinic and we are grateful for that! Any questions we have are answered thoroughly in person or when speaking on the phone, and there always seems to be time to put our minds at ease. A follow-up call to make sure that all is well is very reassuring. We feel that the best medical care possible is given and the genuine attention and concern of the dedicated staff goes above and beyond. When we tell our dogs to “Go with Dr. Terri, Auntie Sue, Auntie JoAnne or Auntie Jessica”, they happily wag their tails and walk away. The staff at North Shore Veterinary Clinic’s professionalism and knowledge combined with compassion, warmth and love for all living creatures makes us feel very blessed to have walked through the door 15 years ago.” (with Becker, Lincoln, Coeur d’Alene and Murdoch)

“Mary Plischke has been the primary vet for the 5 different cats I’ve brought to North Shore Vet over the last 7 years. We greatly value Mary’s experience, compassion, empathy and perspective. She seems to appreciate the unique nature of each animal-commenting on hearing the elderly and now departed Minty’s cries of complaint, “I love these feisty old girls,” and laughing when Lionel’s purring interfered with his recent exam. Early in our acquaintance with Mary the first of my cats became terminally ill, seemingly suddenly, and it was a huge shock to me. Mary administered euthanasia so sensitively I can’t imagine the situation being done better for the needs of my cat or myself. *Some of us as loving cat owners may possibly see every medical challenge as a crisis, but Mary can see the big picture and can deliver a dose of perspective in a palatable way. And the cats seem happy to see her- sometimes they get great brushings along with their exam! We appreciate that she still has time for us despite her surgery schedule. The staff members are friendly, efficient, and willing to help, and we’re very pleased with the care we receive at North Shore Vet.” (on behalf of Lucy and Lionel, and the departed Rollie, Smokey and Minty.)

“In 1994, I was looking for a new Veterinary Clinic to look after my dogs and cats. I found the North Shore Veterinary Clinic and when I went in to see who was there, I was very happy to see Dr. Clemett running the clinic. I had met her before and had been very happy with her care of my dogs. The services offered at the North Shore Veterinary Clinic are more than fantastic. They go the extra mile for the pets and their owners. It is a clean and well run clinic and always kept that way. The doctors are on top of their craft and up to date on new procedures. They are open and listen and help us understand the issues involved in the treatment of our pets. The staff too are professionals. They are knowledgeable, helpful and kind in all sorts of situations. I have and will continue to recommend this clinic to anyone needing the best of care for their animals.”

“Dr. Gorrie is an experienced and competent veterinarian at the North Shore Veterinary Clinic. She looked after various illnesses of my dog CoCo, a small Bichon Frise. After each illness, she always called to ask how CoCo was responding to the medications and her general health conditions. On rare occasions and in the case of medical issues that were outside her area of expertise, she referred us to other competent and caring specialists. It is fortunate for us to have found Dr. Gorrie, a competent, responsible and most of all, caring veterinarian. We are extremely grateful for her services.”

“Dog lovers understand that you just don’t entrust the health maintenance and well-being of your “four legged child” to just any health professional. It takes an expert doctor and a dedicated team who can truly understand your love for your pet to provide the empathy, expertise and genuine caring through all stages of life. That’s what we have found so valuable with Dr. Terri Clemett and her wonderful team at North Shore Veterinary Clinic, and it is why we have remained loyal, satisfied clients for more than 17 years. Just knowing that they truly understand our emotions and are prepared to do whatever it takes in supporting us in making our pet’s life as long and healthy as is possible makes all the difference to us. The fact they are also a great bunch of people just completes the relationship! As long as we own dogs, we will remain loyal customers of this excellent enterprise.”

“We have been very fortunate to have had Dr. Terri Clemett and the wonderful North Shore Veterinary Clinic staff as a constant in our lives since 1995. Over these many years it has been a great comfort to have had caring, competent and professional attention for our cats when it has been needed. We are truly grateful”

“Dr. Terri Clemett saved the life of our much adored cat, Bast, when a prominent West Vancouver vet had given up on him. We had him for eight more years after that, for which we are eternally grateful. Dr. Clemett had been highly recommended to me by the entire pet owning staff of the North Shore News and, indeed, I am always recommending her to everyone I know! Although there are at least seven, possibly more, animal hospitals in West Vancouver, where we live, I gladly make the drive to North Vancouver because I so trust Dr. Clemett with the care and well-being of my dog, Tiquana, and two cats, Nanuq and Loki. There is a lovely, positive energy in the office with a friendly, caring and competent staff. I can call at any time (and I do!) with any concern and never feel that I am being bothersome. The staff are always helpful and kind. Dr. Clemett herself always calls with updates on the patient and afterward follows up to make sure all is well. She is tenacious and innovative when faced with a difficult to diagnose problem, she patiently explains everything so there is no confusion and is extremely empathetic and compassionate and sincere. We feel very fortunate to have the care of our beloved fur babies in such capable hands! Thank you, North Shore Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Clemett!“

“Dr. Terri Clemett has been our veterinarian since the early eighties…she treated our cats, Mork and Mindy, and our first dog, Brandy. She was an associate veterinarian at that time; and we were so pleased with her kind, caring and compassionate approach, we followed her until she set up her own practice in North Vancouver, on Mountain Highway. Dr. Clemett has cared for all our other pets – even introducing us to one of them, Damien, a Doberman Pinscher we loved dearly; Willow followed; and now Cuba….when he goes to see her, he can’t wait to get in the door! We recommend Dr. Terri Clemett most highly. She really cares!!”
